Day 19 of the remodeling

Today, the Diamond Brite was applied to the surface of the pool.  They chipped the old surface with an ax, then they gave it a muriatic acid bath and rinse.  Then two coats of Diamond Brite aggregate was troweled on and smoothed out.  Another acid bath and then the pool was filled with water run through two filters.  After a few days of curing, the water will be balanced and chlorine added.  We should be swimming by Wednesday.
