Day 27, The end of the remodeling construction

Just in time for Memorial Day.  Today, I finished redoing the sprinkler lines to prevent the water from spraying on the deck.  We also put about a foot of mulch all around the perimeter of the deck to keep the dirt and grass clippings from getting on the deck.  There will be more mulching later after we put in some plants.  We will be working on the landscaping for the rest of the summer, so I am declaring success and the end of the construction.  We still have not selected a fabric for the awning, and when we do, it will take about 5 weeks before it gets installed. We have been swimming in the pool now for 4 days.  Memorial Day, we are having a barbeque and a pool warming party to celebrate.
